The Vault has now been officially open for business nearly a month and as the clientele and business begins to ramp up, so too has the news coverage. The Vault saw its name mentioned in publications around the world this week, with a series of news articles and television segments appearing in the likes of Data Center Dynamics, B&C Mobile, Data Center Knowledge and local news station KTVZ, among others.
Coverage of the center has been overwhelmingly positive, with writers focusing on the energy-efficiency and sustainability features of the facility like the KyotoCooling® system, the PV solar panels and the Vault’s use of electricity from local utility company PP&L’s Blue Sky renewable energy program.
Vice President of Technical Operations Leonard Weitman was quoted in several articles, discussing the goals of the Vault, as well as its security credentials and opportunities for potential businesses. Sean Handley, Director of Business Sales, was spotlighted on local news station KTVZ discussing the green initiatives of the Vault and the benefits for potential clients.
Bend-based St. Charles Health System, one of the anchor tenants at the Vault, was also mentioned in coverage, with company CIO William Winnenberg touting the Vault as an opportunity for his company. “We signed on as an anchor tenant knowing that by relocating our operations to the Vault, our strategic needs would be served well into the future,” he said.
